Brake, transmission, exhaust and glass work is often done by specialty shops that see the same job dozens of times a week. Brake shops replace pads and rotors the same day and usually inspect for free; transmission shops rebuild or replace automatics and clutches, a multi-day job that deserves a second quote; muffler and exhaust shops weld custom pipes and replace catalytic converters, which in many states must meet emissions rules. Alignment and suspension shops fix pulling, uneven tire wear and worn shocks, and radiator shops handle overheating and cooling-system leaks. Auto glass shops replace windshields, often at your home or office, and recalibrate the driver-assistance cameras mounted behind the glass. Window tinting and car audio shops round out the group.

Fort Lauderdale is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fort Lauderdale follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Would give zero stars if I could. My insurance referred me to them. Went to get my windshield replaced, they said it’d take 1 hour. I waited because I live 40 min away after 2 hours they said it’s still going to be another 3 so I went back home. When I returned they said they couldn’t calibrate my car because it doesn’t work with the windshield they placed. They needed to order a different windshield. Waited 3 weeks for them to put on the new windshield and went back again for them to tell me they still couldn’t calibrate my car. They told me I need to take it to the dealer and that they would send the dealer payment information that I wouldn’t need to worry about it. Well now they refuse to pay, they say I need to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed by my insurance it’s $780! Spoke to the regional manager, he didn’t care at all and did not keep his word. Worst place ever!!! Super far, the guy who replaced my windshield doesn’t speak English, got the wrong windshield, couldn’t fix my car, all the sensors and lights now are on and ringing, and the management sucks and promises things they can’t keep.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing excellent customer service from Glass America when they removed and installed the front windshield on my Ford Bronco 2023. They greeted me with a smile and took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction was evident throughout the entire process. The installation of the front windshield was done with precision and expertise. The technicians were highly skilled and ensured that every step was taken to ensure a perfect fit. They took the time to explain the process to me and made sure I was comfortable with the work being done. What truly stood out to me was the level of care and respect shown by the Glass America team. They treated my Ford Bronco with the utmost care, ensuring that no damage was done during the removal and installation process. They even cleaned the interior and exterior of my vehicle, leaving it looking as good as new. Overall, my experience with Glass America for removing and installing the fron

BE AWARE this is NOT a real company. Glass America is a false front that doesn’t even hire any technicians. They 1099 contract out work, bill insurance and take their cut. They are NOT a real company and DONT accept liability. I had an 8am appointment and the technician was 30 minutes late. The office isn’t even real, they have no signage anywhere. They told me it would take an hour and after waiting for two hours on them to calibrate it they realized they didn’t actually know how to use the machine to do it. I’ve now had to wait for another contracted out “specialist” to come out to my apartment to calibrate it. What a joke. Use a real and reputable company and save yourself the time and headache.

My rear window needed replacement. Osbaldo and his assistant came to my work and replaced the glass. Very convenient and quick. It took them less than 1hr. They were kind enough to vacuum the trunk as well. Highly recommend. Excellent service from Osbaldo. Thank you
